A luxurious facial tailored specifically to your skin type. Our Ultimate Facial package is designed to combat the skin’s aging process. Facials can play a critical role in maintaining your skin’s natural health and vitality. As one ages there are millions of cells that die and should fall off however, environmental exposure and our natural moisturizing process are reduced and slow the cellular turnover rate. With the slower process the dead cells adhere to the skin creating a barrier to your skins ability to protect, breathe, and absorb topically applied nutrients. During the aging process your skin can become dehydrated, the thin area between the inner and outer layers of skin becomes flatter and less pliable thereby allowing more free radical damage, an issue compounded by the buildup of dead skin cells.
Each Ultimate Facial is tailored to your skin type to improve texture and pigmentation through a three step process. First Enzymatic and Microdermabrasion treatments remove the dead skin cells, and then a chemical peel that is tailored specifically to your skin type is administered, followed by collagen and finishing masks to provide nutrients and hydration into deep tissues for lasting effects.
Our facials will leave your skin feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and provide a healthy, glowing, and radiant appearance. Typically, facials deal with aesthetics and while there is a clinical science behind the process, there is a beauty to it. Our process ensures a full and aesthetically balanced result. We strive to enhance your experience by playing a range of relaxing music in our treatment rooms and our state-of-the-art tables are designed for comfort and support. The combination allows our clients to relax and drift off throughout the various stages of the facial process.
CLEANSING
Our staff will see that you are relaxed and comfortable before starting your treatment with gentle steam flowing from a wand above your face, usually no more than 20 minutes. The steam is designed to open the follicles and we use oxygenated steam to help destroy any bacteria, which is ideal for acne. Aromatherapy can be added to the steam to calm or stimulate cells.
We then cleanse your face, neck, and upper chest area using viscose sponges. This is like receiving an elegant massage to cleanse the skin. Our staff is highly trained to determine sensitivities and allergies. This allows us to tailor the cleansing process to your particular skin type and decide which herbal aspects are best suited to you.
EXFOLIATION
The next step in our facial process is exfoliation. One method is a peel which remains on the skin from two to five minutes. We offer a variety of peels based on skin type as each serves a different purpose be it fine lines, photo-damage, or problematic skin. We also use Enzymatic exfoliants that continue working for hours after removal from the skin. Our professionals constantly monitor the skin for any reactions that suggest an alternate treatment is needed.
Another process that we offer for exfoliation and removal of dead skin is Microdermabrasion. Our office uses a diamond and vacuum system that is both effective and sterile. Through use of microdermabrasion and lighteners we are able to lighten hyperpigmentation and remove the dead tissues and cells.
After the exfoliation process a member of our staff then examines your skin to determine if any extractions of blackheads, whiteheads, cholesterol deposits, etc. are necessary before proceeding to the next step of your fabulous facial.
SERUMS
Following cleaning and exfoliation, your skin and follicles are open to receiving important nutrients. This step in your facial starts with hot towels being applied to the area below your collarbone to assist in the draining of your facial and neck lymphatic systems. Later another hot towel is applied to the facial area. Then a serum with a super-high level of active ingredients is applied to the face, neck, and upper chest areas. You can see and feel the changes from the serum. The serum application, after exfoliation is vital and we offer many options based on the desired result. We have serums to calm and nourish the skin, or others designed to stimulate and rejuvenate. During the serum application, a gentle and relaxing massage helps to stimulate the blood flow and lymphatic drainage. Through the tactile application, our professionals are able to gain an abundance of information about how thick your dermis is, locate problem areas, and determine what types of additional treatments may be beneficial. These serums, with correct application, can transform dry, dehydrated, or sallow skin with low blood flow into a more radiant and active state. These treatments regenerate your skin and create both a newer and fresher appearance through a highly customized treatment plan.
MASK
The next step in your Ultimate Facial is the application of a finishing mask that returns your skin to the correct pH levels which the previous steps may have changed. The correct pH helps to protect your skin from everyday environmental exposure. Our masks contain a high concentration of active ingredients that are designed for your unique skin type. Mask removal is done with a warm towel.
Immediately following the mask is a soothing eye treatment. The eye creams are again designed for your individual skin needs, whether it is to address fine lines and wrinkles, puffiness, under-eye darkness, or signs of stress and fatigue. A lightweight moisturizer or heavier face cream is designed to either stimulate or calm the skin as needed. During this step, our staff is happy to perform eyebrow waxing, shaping, hair removal, and eyelash and brow tinting at your request.
COMPLETION
The final and most critical step is to apply an appropriate and protective sunscreen. With the fresh skin that is exposed during your facial process it is vital to take precautions again UV damage. There are two main types of sunscreen, UVA and UVB, you will need both. There is an easy method in which to remember the difference between the UVA and UVB. The “A” refers to damage that is associated with “aging”, the ”B” pertains to “burning” of the skin which leads to skin cancers. It is imperative following a facial to have quality UVA and UVB sunscreen protection. Our office carries many different SPF’s and varieties of sunscreen protection for every lifestyle.
Frequently clients leave with sample products that are helpful for their individual skin type. We maintain a detailed chart on each patient to monitor progress. This monitoring is critical and allows our team to better understand your skin. Our goal is to ensure that each and every client leaves our office with a glow.
