Our deep cleaning facial is specifically geared towards teens and oily skin types. This treatment includes two cleansing steps, careful skin analysis, and then focuses on exfoliation and extractions, leaving your skin smooth and glowing.
CLEANSING
We start out making sure you are relaxed and comfortable before beginning the treatment. During a first cleansing, we remove surface impurities, debris, excess oil, and makeup. This initial cleansing is followed by an in-depth skin analysis which informs a personalized treatment plan for results-oriented, medical-grade skincare.
We then deep cleanse face, neck, and upper chest a second time, tailoring the cleansing process to your particular skin type, and selecting a variant best suited for you.
EXFOLIATION
Exfoliation removes dead skin cells from the surface of the skin, enabling and stimulating cellular proliferation. Depending on your skin type, we select enzymes, alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), or other gentle chemicals to breakdown and dissolve the glue that holds the dead skin cells to the surface of the skin.
STEAM + EXTRACTIONS
In this next step anti-bacterial, ozone-enhanced steam flows from a wand onto your face to open the follicles. Gentle extractions cleanse congested pores and remove blackheads, minimizing the pores for a more youthful appearance.
MASK + TREATMENT
Masks are the treatment portion of service. A mask may focus on toning, lifting, firming, and hydrating. Special eye and lip treatments may be included as an add-on service. Depending on your goals and the specific needs of your skin, serums are selected, or a correcting second mask is applied.
A lightweight moisturizer or heavier face cream is designed to either stimulate or calm the skin. During this step, we are happy to add eyebrow waxing, shaping, hair removal, and eyelash and brow tinting at your request.
Lastly we apply protective sunscreen. The fresh skin that is exposed during your facial process is more sensitive and must be protected from UV light. We carry many different SPF’s and varieties of sunscreen protection suitable for every lifestyle.
After completion of your facial we will provide more information about personalized skin care and make-up selections, frequently accompanied by sample products.
